Wado, which means "the way to peace and harmony," is one of the four major karate styles. Established in 1996, the Wado Karate Association of Canada (wado.ca) is a nonprofit society dedicated to preserving Wado karate, which was founded in Japan in 1934. The Wado Karate Association also interacts with other karate groups around the world and promotes self-defense, inner strength, humility and respect for others.

The mission of the Canadian Soccer Association (canadasoccer.com) is "to provide leadership in the pursuit of excellence in soccer, nationally and internationally, in cooperation with its members and partners." It was founded in 1912 and is headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario. The association is affiliated with the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) and the Canadian Olympic Association.
Canadian Wheelchair Sports Association

The Canadian Wheelchair Sports Association (cwsa.ca) was founded in 1967. Its main goal is "to promote excellence and develop opportunities for Canadians in wheelchair sport." The CWSA is a link to the development of wheelchair athletes and sports at all levels. The CWSA also manages power lifting and wheelchair rugby.
Canadian Sport Parachuting Association

Created in 1956, the Canadian Sport Parachuting Association (cspa.ca) promotes parachuting in Canada, is a member of the Aero Club of Canada and is affiliated with the Coaching Association of Canada. The Canadian Sport Parachuting Association also offers a certificate of proficiency that provides skydiving opportunities at CSPA-affiliated drop zones worldwide.

The Canadian Deaf Sports Association (assc-cdsa.com) focuses on the promotion of amateur sports for deaf athletes in Canada, as well as the selection and training of deaf athletes for international competitions, including the Pan American Games for the Deaf, the Deaflympics and the World Deaf Championships. Curling, volleyball, cycling, bowling, basketball, darts, hockey and golf are some of the sports and competitions available to members.
