Instructions for a Hand Warmer
Hand warmers are very useful in the wintertime, but they can be a bit tricky if you have never used one before or if you have lost the instructions. Each hand warmer is different, but most of them work the same way. Usually, you have to take out the heating element, pour in fuel, ignite the wick and replace the heating element to make it work. If you do this and the heater still doesn't work, consult the company or person that you purchased it from.

1
Remove the top cover and the heating element.
-
2
Fill the heater with fluid to an indicated line. Do not exceed the allotted amount or your hand warmer might not work. If you spill any excess, wipe it up.
-
3
Replace the heating element and ignite the wick.
-
4
Blow out the wick or place the hand warmer into a hand warmer bag if the model directions say to do so. If the hand warmer seems too hot or if fire is coming out of it, you know you need to do one of these things.
