- Rag
- New spark plug
- Gas
Instructions
-
The Battery
-
1
Locate the battery under your Warrior's seat. Try to start the engine via the electronic starter.
-
2
Listen to the motor. If the motor doesn't turn over or turns over very slowly, you probably have a problem with your battery.
-
3
Use a battery charger to charge the battery overnight. Connect the leads from the battery charger to the battery terminals, then plug the battery charger into the wall outlet.
-
4
Try to start the Warrior the next day. If the Warrior will not start, replace the battery with a new one.
Spark Plug
-
5
Remove the spark plug from the engine. The spark plug housing is on the right side of the engine and is labeled.
-
6
Pull the spark plug from the housing with your finger. Use a rag to clean any gunk or debris off the spark plug.
-
7
Put the spark plug back into the housing and try to start the Warrior.
-
8
Replace the spark plug if the Warrior will not start.
Gas
-
9
Open the gas tank on the side of the Warrior and listen for any gas that may be swilling around.
-
10
Locate the fuel cock next to the starter and turn it to the "RES" setting. This is the reserve line.
-
11
Try to start the ATV.
-
12
Fill the tank up with gasoline if the Warrior won't start. Try to start the ATV.
-
13
Take the Warrior to a service shop if you still can't get it to start. Service shops will have specialized diagnostic tools to help determine the problem.
