My Honda 5.5 HP Won't Start

The Honda 5.5 HP ATV (all-terrain vehicle) is used to access areas in rugged country. If you can't get your 5.5 HP ATV to start, you can use a method called a "rolling start." This will allow the ATV to start by popping the clutch while the ATV is moving. You don't' have to be an ATV technician to get your Honda started again. You can do it with minimal knowledge of the subject in just a couple minutes.

Instructions

    • 1

Put the key into the ATV and turn the solenoid to the "On" position.

    • 2

Roll the ATV down a hill or get a couple of friends to push the ATV at a constant pace.

    • 3

Push the clutch on the side of the ATV while it is rolling.

    • 4

Shift the ATV into second gear at the gearshift.

    • 5

Release the clutch and wait for the engine to cut on.
