1
Close your eyes and draw your bow to the normal position that you would use when firing.
-
2
Open your eyes with the bow drawn and sight through the peep sight. If the peep sight is rotated so that you cannot see through it, take note of how far off center it has rotated either to the left or right.
-
3
Place your bow in a bow press and secure it in place.
-
4
Apply pressure to the bow to release pressure on the bowstring.
-
5
Rotate the bowstring one turn.
-
6
Release the pressure on the bow and remove it from the bow press.
-
7
Draw the bow with your eyes closed again and open them once you have reached your preferred firing position. If the peep sight is still rotated, place the bow in the bow press and rotate the string one turn and check the peep sight rotation. Continue this process until the peep sight is no longer rotated and offers full view of the bow sight. Most peep sights should be correctly aligned within four turns.
