How to Adjust Ultrashock Stabilizer
Almost all serious archers who don't shoot traditional style use a stabilizer to improve their shooting. Not only does the stabilizer help the archer balance the bow when at full draw, but it also dampens noise and vibration when the string is released. This gives a cleaner, more accurate shot. The Ultra Shock allows adjustment of the way in which the stabilizer absorbs the vibration, allowing you to adapt it to your bow.

1
Screw the stabilizer onto your bow. Slide the rubber O-ring to one end of the stabilizer. Shoot a few arrows into the target.
-
2
Pay attention to how the bow feels in your hand as you release. Slide the O-ring down the stabilizer at half-inch increments. Fire a few shots at each increment.
-
3
Compare the feel of the bow and your arrow grouping at each increment. Find the O-ring position you think best suits you. Experiment with sliding the O-ring a quarter-inch in each direction from this position.
