Badminton Racket Rules
Badminton is a sport played on a court similar to a tennis court. Players stand on either side of a net and volley a shuttlecock back and forth with rackets. The object of the game is to make the shuttlecock land in the opponent's side of the court.

Racket Size

According to the International Federation of Badminton, a regulation racket cannot be more than 680 mm long and 230 mm wide.
Racket Parts

The racket frame must consist of a handle, a shaft and a throat (if present) that is attached to the head that holds together the stringed area.
Stringed Area

The stringed area must be flat and be made of strings that make up a crossing pattern. This pattern must be consistent throughout the entire stringed area.
Size of Racket Head

The head of a badminton racket cannot be more than 280 mm long and 220 mm wide.
Attachments

Nothing can be attached to the racket other than a cord used to attach to a player's hand.
