Step-by-Step How to Throw a Two-Seam Fastball
Pitchers throw several different types of fastballs, and each of them moves differently and travels at different speeds. One of those is the two-seam fastball, which travels a couple miles per hour slower and has more movement than a regular fastball, also known as a four-seam fastball. Although pitchers may throw a four-seam fastball to overpower hitters, many use two-seam fastballs as an inside pitch that runs toward the hitter's hands. That is especially true when right-handed pitchers face right-handed batters and left-handed pitchers face left-handed batters.
