      Understanding and following an organization's culture will help you gain the support of the people on your team. Your teammates will know what you stand for and trust you.

      Encourage your team members to talk to you about problems and bring to your attention potential solutions. Your teammates have different perspectives on situations and may have more knowledge than you do about a certain issue. Take advantage of that.
