Instructions

    • 1

Visit your local sporting goods store.

    • 2

Pull the balls out of their boxes and squeeze, set and toss them to get a feel for each ball.

    • 3

Read the packaging to verify that the ball is an indoor ball if you plan to play in a gym or an outdoor ball if you plan to play on grass or at the beach.

    • 4

Check to see that the box (or ball) is labeled as the official tournament size and weight.

    • 5

Buy a ball with a strong bladder and durable stitching.

    • 6

Test to see whether you like a leather or synthetic material better.

    • 7

Look for a softer material if you hate the forearm stings caused by some balls.
