A pound of fat equals 3500 calories. To calculate the time needed to burn that 1 pound use the following formula. Take your weight, divide by 50. Multiple this by 2. Then divide this figure into 3500. This is how many minutes you will need to box over the course of a given time to burn 1 pound of fat. Example. 200lb / 50 = 4. 4 multiplied by 2 = 8.8 divided into 3500 = approx 400 minutes. So if you box 60 minutes every day you would loose about 1 pound per week.
