Black Sand Tire Treatment

Black Sand Tire Treatment is part of the Track Tac line of tire care products. This treatment is safe to use on cars with natural or synthetic rubber tires.

    • Black Sand Tire Treatment is a type of application used by motor racers. The treatments serve to increase the tire's life span, while increasing the speed of the car. Use Black Sand Tire Treatments on automobiles that race on sandy or dusty tracks, such as dirt raceways.

    Application

    • Apply Black Sand treatments on clean tires. Use a sponge roller to cover each tire's treads. The manufacturer recommends three to six coats of Black Sand, with an average drying time of 45 minutes between coats. Complete the process five or six days before the next scheduled race.
