1
Take the mesh out of the package and stretch it with your hands. This will prevent stretching later on that can loosen up your mesh and can lead to problems with your throws and catches.

2
Fold the mesh over the first two rows so that the smooth side faces you and place it up against the head (the far end) of the lacrosse stick. Take your leather string and lace it through the far right end of the mesh and through the lacing hole in the head of the stick. Pull the leather string through the next hole in the lacrosse stick and loop it under the previous loop of leather string before you weave it through the second hole in the mesh. Continue this weaving process until you've reached the far end of the head. Knot both ends and trim off excess string.

3
Lace the sidewalls. Begin at the bottom of the lacrosse stick and weave a nylon string through the sidewall and then through a hole in the mesh. Loop the string back through the next hole in the mesh and back through the next sidewall hole. Continue doing this until you reach the head, then run the string back to the base by running the nylon through the sidewall holes and through the mesh holes, creating a double weave. Tie off the ends and trim off the excess string. Do this for the left and right sidewalls.

4
Tie off the throat of the stick. Run the string through the mesh and up the sidewall holes, tying knots to hold the throat (the bottom of the mesh cup you've created) in place so that it won't sag. You can tie the throat tightly, putting the string through every single mesh hole or tie it loose with only every other or every two mesh holes tied. Tie the string off tightly once it's been run up through the sidewall holes (just two or all of them, as you wish). Cut off the unnecessary ends.

5
Lace the shooting strings. These strings provide additional strength and bounce for your mesh. Locate the second row of mesh holes from the top. Run a nylon string through the side wall and weave it through the row until it reaches the other sidewall. Weave it back through the row and then tie off the ends tightly, trimming off excess string. Do this two to three more times, leaving even space between the mesh rows.
