The school's focus is on two primary methods for students, known as shaping and chaining. Through skating students learn the proper technique for skills such as turning, balancing, and stopping. Proficiency in power skating is assumed after students master each of the school's skill levels. A student's skating level is assessed before they are placed under one of eight badge levels.       Originally known as the Future Stars Hockey School, London, Ontario, the London Star Hockey School offers skating and hockey instruction to students from beginning to advanced levels.
