How to Make Hockey Netting
Hockey can be a fun game to play on ice, but you can just as easily play it on a driveway, with a few sticks and a goal picked up from the local sports store. Unfortunately, nets often take a heavy beating with all those balls and pucks being launched at them, and sometimes the frame or the netting can become damaged. Fortunately, a broken net does not mean that you have to get a whole new goal.
Things You'll Need
- Fishing net
- Zip ties

1
Attach one long end of the fishing net to the crossbar and the two posts with several zip ties. Be sure to get a fishing net that is big enough to cover the entire net.
-
2
Roll up the extra netting at the rear and sides of the net, so that there is some slack in the net, but not so much that the net will drag on the ground when you move it. Secure the rolled up portion in several places with zip ties.

3
Secure the rear of the net to the sides and back, bottom bar with more zip ties. You should use six or seven zip ties along the back edge, as this area is a high-impact zone for balls and pucks.
