West Wind Stables
-
West Wind is a horse camp for girls 9 to 13 years old, with wooded trails and indoor and outdoor arenas. All levels of English equitation, Western horsemanship, and beginning dressage lessons are taught. West Wind does not rent horses for trail rides by the hour. Instead, campers arrive on a Sunday and start the week with a bonfire and a hayride, then end the week on Friday with a horse presentation attended by the participants’ family members. West Wind also has box stall, tie stall, private paddock and pasture boarding. A non-refundable deposit is required to register for camp, and a tour of the ranch is offered for prospective campers and parents prior to registration.
