Disney Triathalon & Endurance Events

Walt Disney hosts a variety of triathlons and running events in the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, and Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California. Participate in triathlons, marathons or half marathons featuring character-themed races and scenic routes through Disney parks. Meet your favorite characters along the way and cherish the event with a Disney-themed finisher medal.

  1. Ironman 70.3

    • The Orlando Ironman Triathlon 70.3 is one of the qualifying series event for the Ironman World Championship 70.3. The event takes place at the Walt Disney World Resort, where triathletes compete in a 1.2-mile swim in Bay Lake at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. The 56-mile bike course tracks along the World Drive in Walt Disney World Resort, and the 13.1-mile run is held at the scenic course through Disney's Wilderness Trails and Roadways. Athletes move through the calm waters of the fresh water Bay Lake while viewing some of the world-famous attractions at Disney World.

    Walt Disney World Marathon

    • Join the Walt Disney World Marathon for a weekend of endurance and family races that include a Disney Health and Fitness Expo, marathon, half marathon, Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge, Disney Family Fun Run 5K, Disney Kids' Races and a Pasta in the Park Party to finish off the events. The marathon and marathon relay courses run through all four theme parks in the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. Finishers receive medals of Mickey Mouse and his friends. The Walt Disney World Marathon, marathon relay, half marathon, Mickey Mile and Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge are timed events with the use of ChronoTrack timing system.

    Disney's Princess Half Marathon

    • Dress like your favorite Disney princess and run the Walt Disney World Princess Half Marathon in Orlando. This weekend event includes other endurance races and fun activities like Disney Family Fun Run 5K, Disney's Kids' Races and Disney's Fit for a Princess Expo. The half marathon course winds through the Walt Disney World theme parks; runners have plenty of photo opportunities including in front of Cinderella's castle in the Magic Kingdom theme park while meeting all the Disney characters and princesses. All finishers receive a princess medal and participants who register early can have their names printed on their bibs.

    Disneyland Half Marathon

    • The Disneyland Half Marathon takes place at Anaheim, California, in the Disneyland Resort. Runners can enjoy a 13.1-mile course that winds through Sleeping Beauty Castle and Disney California Adventure Park while being cheered on by Disney Characters along the way. The weekend events include Disneyland Half Marathon, Disneyland Family Fun Run 5K, kid's races, health and fitness expo and pasta in the park party. Each participant's registration in the half marathon race are entitled to receive a race tech shirt, finisher medal, personalized race bib and goody bag.
