  1. Historic Cabin Tour

    • For those interested in a bit of history, American Adventure Tours offers an excursion to a historic cabin on the Old Mormon Trail. While enjoying the views of the Mojave Desert, participants ride through historic Hidden Valley and the rugged McCullough Mountain Range.

      The tour starts from Jean, Nevada -- approximately 30 minutes from the Las Vegas strip -- and complimentary, air conditioned transportation is available from select hotels along the strip. Dirt bikers must be at least 16 years old with dirt biking experience; American Adventure tours tailors each trip to the interests and riding level of the group.

      Available year-round, the tour price includes a box lunch for each participant. There is also a per person fuel surcharge.

    Hidden Valley Primm Extreme Dirt Bike Adventure

    • Look! Tours offers a dirt biking adventure to the Nevada/California border. Starting in Jean, Nevada -- only 30 minutes from the Las Vegas strip -- dirt bikers travel through the Hidden Valley National Monument, the Mojave Desert, extinct lava beds, the Jean dry lake and the McCullough Mountain Range. After stopping in Primm, Nevada (at the Nevada/California state line) for sightseeing and perhaps lunch, the dirt bike tour returns to Jean.

      Available year-round, Look! Tours offers morning and afternoon tours (afternoon tours do not stop at Primm); its fee includes chilled bottled water and complimentary transportation to and from select hotels from the Las Vegas strip. Participants must be at least 16 years old and experienced dirt bike riders.

    Primm Day Ride

    • Starting in Primm, Nevada -- 40 miles from Las Vegas -- AdMo-Tours offers dirt bike tours in the Mojave Desert and Nevada's dry lakebeds. Most trails are wide open and less technical, and some sections are rocky and sandy.

      Admo-Tours offers tours year-round, and participants can schedule rides on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. These tours range from half a day to four days in length, and participants choose rides that are easy, intermediate or advanced. Guides demonstrate proper riding technique and how to treat the delicate beauty of the desert and mountain ecosystems with respect.

      Fees vary and cover a dirt bike guide and refreshments; participants may provide their own dirt bikes, or they can rent them.
