What Are ISO Grips?

ISO grips are a brand of motorcycle handlebar grips manufactured by the Wisconsin based Küryakyn company. They come in a range of colors, designs and sizes.

  1. Function

    • ISO grips are designed to reduce the vibrations sent up from the road, through the tires and up to the handlebars -- eliminating the sensation of tired hands when riding for long periods of time.

    Design

    • Similar designs are available for different motorcycles. They are shaped to limit strain on the muscles when holding the handlebars tightly, and are sold in various colors allowing you to customize your bike. Accessories including colored grip rings and leather fringes are also available.

    Installation

    • ISO grips are simple to install. Remove the original grips that came on the bike, then screw, and glue, on the new grips.
