Start in the ready position. Place your feet shoulder width apart and slightly bend your knees. Remain balanced.
-
2
Jump, powerfully, into the air. Keep your back straight and head positioned upward throughout the jump.
-
3
Rotate your hips so that your legs become parallel to the ground -- in other words, kick your legs out to the sides so they form a straight, horizontal line beneath your body. Reach your hands out in the same position. Try to touch the inside of your ankles with your hands. Bring both your legs and arms back to your sides into the start position. Land firmly on the ground and bend your knees slightly to cushion the landing.
