Use the pencil and the ruler to mark 1-inch spots along the vertical and horizontal sides of the poster board. WIth the ruler, slowly trace straight lines across the poster board vertically. Then draw the same type of lines on the board horizontally. The lines will form a grid across your poster board.

List the sports teams who are competing against each other across the top side of the grid. For example, the Philadelphia Eagles versus the New York Giants football matchup would be listed in one box. Write the pool participants’ names down the side of the board.

Write the name of each team that the pool participant selected to win that week. For example, if Participant A selected the Giants to win their game, write the team name "Giants" in the box across from his name and under the Eagles versus Giants matchup. Be sure that each person has a winning team picked for each matchup.

At the end of the week, use the chart to list which pool participant has selected the most winning teams. Circle the teams that won across the top of the poster board. The participant that selects the most winners wins the pool money.
