- Drywall paper tape
- Joint compound
- Patching plaster
- Putty knife
- Paint
- Sponge paint brush roller

Clean the plaster walls.

Apply the drywall paper tape to the cracks.

Using a putty knife, coat the drywall paper tape with joint compound. Smooth the joint compound so it is even with the surrounding wall.

Fill any large holes in the wall with patching plaster. If the hole is very large, a piece of wood may be inserted into the hole and nailed to wall studs before being covered with plaster.

Paint plaster walls using a sponge paint brush roller.
