1
Cut the PVC pipe sections using the table saw. Ensure you are left with one 6-foot long crossbar, two 4-foot high posts, one 6-foot long back base, and two 2-foot side supports.
-
2
Apply the PVC glue on the inside edges of two of the 90-degree elbow joints. Insert the crossbar into both joints, with the second opening of each joint facing down.
-
3
Slide two 4-foot-high posts into the other hole on the first pair of elbow joints. Prepare the inside edges of another pair of joints.
-
4
Slide the posts into one set of the holes on the second set of joints. Rotate the joints so that the second set of holes is facing what will be the back of the goal.
-
5
Slide the two lower side supports into the second set of holes. Lay the goal face down.
-
6
Take the second 6-foot pipe and connect the last pair of elbow joints to the ends with the PVC glue. Rotate these joints to slide over the ends of the two lower side supports, now pointing straight up. Allow a few minutes for all joints to fully cure.
-
7
Lay the roller hockey netting over the back of the goal frame. Attach the net to the back of the PVC piping with a plastic zip tie about every two inches. Snip off the excess plastic tie tail with wire snips.
-
8
Stand the goal upright. Inspect the netting to ensure there are no gaps or buckles around the attachment points to allow a puck to slip through.
