How to Make a Rugby Jersey

If you are starting a rugby team, are the coach of a rugby team or want to have custom rugby jerseys for you and your friends, you can design your own jerseys and have them made.       Locate a company that manufactures rugby jerseys. Route One Design, LiquidRugby and The Rugby Shop are companies that allow you to customize rugby jerseys.

      Choose your shirt style. There are a traditional cotton rugby shirts, hooded rugby shirts, V neck and polyester blend shirts. When you choose your shirt style, you must also choose your sleeve style and collar style.

      Select the rugby jersey's collar color, cuff color, body color and sleeve color. Companies offer a wide variety of colors and styles, both striped and solid, for the sleeve color and body color. You can use an existing design, or submit your own design, depending on the company.

      Choose designs for your rugby jersey. Many rugby jerseys have designs, such as team logos or sponsor logos, on different parts of the jersey, including the left chest, the right chest, the left arm, the right arm, the center of the chest, under the collar on the back of the shirt and above the player's number on the back.
