How to Exchange a Broken Tunit Stud
Tunit studs come in hard ground (hg), soft ground (sg) and firm ground (fg) varieties. So no matter where you intend to wear your Tunit soccer shoes, with the exception of an indoor field, you'll have the appropriate studs for your game. If you want to exchange the studs, all you need is the basic, gold wrench that came with the kit. Even if a stud is broken, you should be able to get it out with a standard set of pliers.
Things You'll Need
- Golden stud wrench
- Pliers
- Replacement stud

1
Use the gold-colored wrench to try removing the cleat stud. The wrench has three sections, each of which corresponds to a different type of cleat. Put the proper end onto the cleat, and turn it counterclockwise to loosen and remove the stud.

2
Use a pair of pliers to grasp and turn the stud, if the wrench doesn't fit -- which is possible with broken or deformed studs. Grab the stud with the pliers, and twist it counterclockwise to unscrew it.

3
Install a new screw with the gold wrench. Put the proper end over the right type of stud, and then screw it in by turning it clockwise in the hole.
