How to Get Sponsored in Softball

1
Plan your strategy for reaching out to members of the community, such as small businesses, to ask for a contribution. You'll want to target those you know have the financial means to support your squad.
-
2
Talk to people with whom you have relationships within the business community -- perhaps a family member, parent of a player, or close friend. Offer to put the name and logo of the business on the players' uniforms in exchange for a financial contribution.
-
3
Expand your outreach to other members of the business community, including hospitals and universities. Consider selling advertising spots in the game program or over the public address system. Maybe you're even willing to name the team after the highest donor.
-
4
Develop a short contract to take to the businesses for them to sign to solidify the deal. The terms of the contract should include the length of the contribution and how the funds will be transfered. Signatures from both parties must be included.
