How to Install an SA-58 Lower Handguard Rail System
The SA VZ-58 is a Czech-manufactured rifle system similar to the more famous Russian AK-47. It has a wooden hand grip at the front of the rifle to be gripped by your non-firing hand. You can install a lower hand guard rail system in place of this hand guard, to attach accessories such as sling mounts, vertical forearm grips or a flashlight. Installation requires removing the old hand guard parts and installing the new ones in their place, which requires the removal of the holding pins.
