Put on the leggings. Leggings are made with spandex and cling tightly to the skin, while allowing a full range of movement. Choose leggings up to the knees so the shin guard stays in contact with the skin. Wearing the leggings between your shin and the shin guard builds up heat and friction, which can cause irritation.
