Sand N Sun Pool Products

Sand N Sun manufactures pool equipment for above-ground pools. Its products can be purchased at any number of retail stores or websites, including Walmart, Sun Enterprises and NexTag. The company makes cleaning supplies and markets a couple of different pools that bear the Sand N Sun brand.

  1. Filter Pumps

    • Sand N Sun offers five different pumps. The pumps are used to clean the pool and help remove things that might get in the water. The 4000 GPH is operated with a 120-volt, high-volume, double-insulated motor. The 2,500-gallon filter pump is adaptable to many different Sand N Sun pools. It comes in a package that includes all necessary hoses, plunger valves, strainers and clamps. The 1,500-gallon pump is designed for pools that are smaller than 18 feet. The 1,000-gallon pump is double-insulated and easy to hook up. The 530-gallon pump will work with a 110- or 120-volt motor and has a sediment flush valve.

    Filter Replacements

    • Sand N Sun offers a few different replacement cartridges for filter pumps. The Type A cartridge is easy to change and will fit six different pumps. It is also easy to clean, but must be changed every two weeks. The Type B cartridge will also fit six different pumps. It's an effective cartridge because it contains thicker paper and more pleats. The Type C is 8 inches long and has a 4 1/4-inch diameter.

    Pool Cover

    • Sand N Sun makes a solar pool cover that will cover a 12-foot to 14-foot space. In addition to preventing leaves and other debris from falling into the pool, the solar pool cover helps warm the water. The material of the cover is designed to absorb heat and keep it in the pool. The Sand N Sun solar cover can raise the temperature of the water in your pool by about eight degrees.

    Pool

    • Sand N Sun also markets a metal-framed above-ground pool. It is 15 feet across and is 4 feet deep. At 90 percent capacity, it will hold 4,440 gallons of water. It comes with a ladder that is easily set up for access into the pool. It also comes with a pump, filter cartridge, ground cloth, cover and maintenance kit. It is recommended that no one under the age of six enter the pool.
