How to Watch Tennis Live Streaming Online & on Television [Grand Slam, ATP, WTA, Challenger Tennis]

Tennis is one of the most famous sports in the world and an era of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams have ushered in newer fans quite regularly. It has also meant the demand to watch tennis live, either streamed to the devices of tennis fans or on television has also risen and with it the confusion about how one can do that. In this exhaustive guide below we look at the various ways, free and otherwise, to be able to watch tennis live streaming online.

A couple of caveats before we begin with explaining the various methods to watch live tennis streams. These are all the legal options available; we have avoided illegal live streaming options here.

Secondly, depending on the tennis streaming rights, things could change and we will look to ensure we have updated all our information here. However, if you find any outdated information, kindly write to us and we will try and update it with the latest as soon as it’s possible.

So with that out of the way, let’s start with ATP tennis.

How to Watch ATP Tennis Live Streaming?

The easiest and the highest quality of men’s tennis streams can be found with TennisTV.com.

Tennis TV is the official broadcaster of ATP tennis live streams and you could be anywhere in the world and you can watch your tennis, whether it’s ATP 250, 500, Masters 1000 or the ATP Finals competitions with Tennis TV.

These streams are ad-free, show full replays of matches, highlights of matches from all the way back to 1990, provide real-time stats and provide multiple angles as well.

At the time of writing, TennisTV.com charges $14.99/month (or you could go with the annual option of paying $119.99 for 12 months). You can obviously check with TennisTV.com here for the latest offers and costs – we will strive to update the same regularly here.

The issue with this, however, is they don’t stream Grand Slams, for which you will need to find an access in another way.

How to Watch WTA Tennis Live Streaming?

Much like the ATP, the WTA has their own premium live streaming option online at WTATV.com which allows fans to officially live stream HD quality tennis matches from the women’s circuit any place, any time.

Fans are allowed to pause and rewind the tennis action too, making this an excellent opportunity to follow women’s tennis.

Other than the live streams of WTA tennis, WTATV.com also provides interviews, highlights and other such feature pieces which you can watch with this service from time to time.

And its cost is lower than ATP tennis streaming, pegged at $9.99/month at the moment.

Check out WTATV.com here for its latest pricing and offers.

Live Tennis in the UK & Ireland with Amazon Prime

In more recent times, OTT platforms like Amazon Prime and some of the social media platforms too have begun live streaming sports competitions. Amazon Prime has the official rights to some of the tennis tournaments on both, the ATP and WTA circuit, in the UK and Ireland.

In essence, if you are an Amazon Prime member, you can watch the live streaming of select tennis throughout the season at no extra cost.

If you want to subscribe to Amazon Prime to be able to watch tennis live streaming, you can do that with a free, 30-day trial package by signing up with Amazon here.

Apart from ATP and WTA tennis tournaments, Amazon Prime also offers US Open live streaming option for those in the UK and Ireland.

To be able to watch the other Grand Slams in the same region, you would have to sign up with the EuroSport Player which would allow you to watch not just the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon but also other sports live.

You can check the exact live streaming schedule for tennis with Amazon Prime here.

How to Watch ATP Challenger Tennis Live?

Unlike the other ATP and WTA tournaments, you don’t need a paid subscription to be able to watch Challenger competitions. The official ATP website streams all of its Challenger tournaments on their website and you can watch its live stream like you would on a YouTube channel.

Click here to begin streaming the latest Challenger tournaments live.

ATP Challengers along with Futures competitions are also streamed live with bet365 (see the section on bookmakers below).

Watching Tennis Live in the US

Arguably one of the biggest tennis-consuming market – if not the biggest – is the American market and there are multiple ways for different tournaments to watch the sport live.

For the smaller tournaments like the ATP 250/500/Masters and the various, similar WTA-level competition, tennis is telecast live on Tennis Channel on TV and streamed online on any of the devices you own.

Grand Slam competitions are broadcast live in the USA over different networks with Tennis Channel, ESPN and NBC acquiring rights to different rounds of those competitions.

You can obviously live stream ATP and WTA tennis using the aforementioned TennisTV.com and WTATV.com respectively as well.

If you have an Amazon Prime Videos subscription, you can use that to watch tennis live with Tennis TV.

How to Watch Live Tennis Using Bookmakers?

This is an interesting way to be able to watch tennis live streaming for what can be called as a free option.

I mean, it’s not exactly free because you need to register and make a small deposit but till such time there’s a deposit in your signed up account, you would be able to watch the live streams for free. Later you can either use that same money to bet or withdraw from your account back into your bank.

Of course, once you withdraw, the streaming will stop.

So which are the best bookmakers to watch live tennis?

    Bet365

Our first and foremost pick is bet365. Founded by John Coates in the year 2000 in Stoke-on-Trent, it is one of the biggest and most recognizable bookmaker in Europe and if I could add, one of the most trustworthy as well.

The best part about bet365 when it comes to tennis streaming is it has access to almost every tennis match under the sun, whether it’s Grand Slams or ATP/WTA tennis, Challenger competitions or even Futures tournaments and other exhibition competitions.

You name it and they should have live access to that tennis tournament. Tough to get anything past them!

So how can you watch the live streaming of tennis matches with bet365?

It’s quite simple actually. Register with bet365 by filling up their log-in form and once you have done that, link it a payment option you want to use.

Depending on which country you are from, there could different options available for you – right from wire transfers to credit and debit cards to Skrill and Moneybookers.

Once you have logged in and uploaded a basic sum of around $10, you can go to Tennis > Choose the Tournament/Match and click on the Live Streaming option.

Please note, again, you would have to have some money uploaded into your bet365 account to be able to watch the stream and at times, some of this live streaming could be geo-restricted based on which country you are accessing these streams from.

    Unibet

Much like bet365, Unibet also has access to tennis matches from around the globe.

While their list might not be as exhaustive as the former, among the other bookmakers live streaming tennis, Unibet has a competitive list of tournaments they cover and you could look at their tennis live stream schedule here, to know more about this.

    SpreadEx

SpreadEx live streams Challenger tournaments, along with the qualifiers of some of the ATP competitions. Follow SpreadEx here to get a comprehensive listing of the upcoming live streams from the world of tennis.

    William Hill

William Hill is another trusted, UK-based bookmaker and from time to time, they have their own live streaming options for tennis tournaments.

Television Channels Showing Live ATP Tennis

If you are in the confines of your living room and can watch live tennis on your television it makes sense to understand which channel broadcasts which tournament in your country.

Typically television rights to live tennis are shared on the basis of the type of tournament – i.e. ATP 250s are bunched together, so are ATP 500s, Masters 1000s and so on. Grand Slams TV broadcasting rights are sold separately with some countries having Australian Open telecast with one broadcaster and French Open with another.

Here’s a list of TV channels which telecast tennis live on television. This is an indicative list and there could be last-minute changes to it.
