Instructions

    • 1

Open the accessories menu from your computer's list of programs and select "Paint" from the drop-down menu. Select the box drawing, the line or the pencil tool to create the flag outline. A rectangle, a triangular arc or a rounded top triangle are flag shape options.

    • 2

Draw the interior design using the line, pencil or shape-drawing tools. For example when designing a rectangular flag, you may separate the large rectangle into three vertical stripes with a large star in the center.

    • 3

Select the paint bucket and a color option, and left-click the mouse button to add color to each specific section. Remember that there must be a connection between the lines and the flag shape to prevent the action from coloring other sections of the flag design.

Choose the paintbrush option to add custom color designs to the flag structure. Change the colors and line structure accordingly to achieve the desired overall look of the flag, if necessary.

Print the paint document to show it to the band front or color guard director for approval.
