5 v 5 Plus Two Group Attacking Game

The following comes from Don Herlan (Smedley). Much more like this can be found from Smedley on his site at www.smedleyssoccersite.com.

Set Up: There are twelve players set up on a small field, playing 5 v 5 plus two.

Procedure: To score, the attacking team must dribble the ball across their opponent’s end line. They can use the two neutral attackers playing inside the central grid to relieve pressure, but the neutrals are limited to one or two touches. After scoring, the attacking team reverses field and tries to score in the other direction. Games are played to three points, and on balls put out of touch, the Feeder re-starts play.
