How to Become an Athletic Coach

Children grow up with vast opportunities and outlets at their fingertips. Normally, a child tends to lean toward a mentor or authority figure at some point in time for guidance and support. An athletic coach is a prime example of a mentor for many children, especially while in school. Being an athletic coach requires training, expertise and a love or desire to teach and mentor youth. With such as rewarding occupation, you not only have the ability to do what you enjoy, but you also have the ability to shape the lives of young people, and to help them develop confidence and self-esteem that they'll carry with them throughout their life.
