How to Prepare for High School Finals
Instructions
-
Mental Preparation
-
1
On a sheet of paper, make a list of all the subjects and the material for each subject that you will be tested on.
-
2
Assign days to review and study your listed subject material. Take it easy and don't bite off more than you can chew. You have plenty of time. It's best to plan for less per day than you can actually handle. That way, you'll exceed the plan when you actually take on more during a given day. Seeing you exceed your own plan will motivate you to keep at it.
-
3
Stick to your study schedule and thoroughly review the material.
-
4
Ask a friend to test you on each subject material. If you don't have a friend, look inside your textbook for practice tests and take them.

6
Exercise your hand. Start writing in a notepad a during the weeks leading up to your exams.
-
7
Start eating healthy and getting plenty of rest. You want to get at least 8 hours of sleep each night prior to the test.
-
8
Review your study material just before going to sleep the night before the test. You want it fresh in your mind.
-
9
Let it go. On the morning of the test, trust that your preparation has paid off. Try to keep mellow and go into the test thinking to yourself that you are prepared.
