Bungee Jumping Safety Rules

Weather
-
You will find your bungee jumping session can wind up canceled if adverse weather conditions appear on the weather forecast for that day. High winds and poor visibility, as a result of snow, rain or fog, prevent bungee jumping activities from occurring because of safety issues. Your risk of injury goes up each time the atmosphere reads unfavorable. Ice can freeze equipment making for faulty errors in once tightened ropes and secure harnesses.
Equipment
-
Equipment that meets proper safety standards means you can rest assured that no failures will come about while you jump. Employees should check and recheck that the ankle harnesses that attach you to the bungee rope are secure. The bungee company should place a body harness (similar to those used in rock climbing) along with ankle attachments for extra safety measures. Ensure that the bungee cord latches right onto the structure you will jump from. Locations that a cord can secure onto include railings on a bridge, buildings and safety fence. Check to see if the bungee jumping company provides airbags at the bottom of the jump location. You will see a safety net set up in places that provide bungee jumping on a regular basis.
