Schools for Ski Racing

Ski racing is an exciting winter sport. There are several types of racing. Downhill racing requires the skier to complete a course marked by gates. The skiers must pass between the gates to stay on course. Slalom racing requires the skier to maintain speed while navigating tight turns. There are several ski racing schools in the United States that help athletes improve their skills and speed.
  1. Olin/Lacasse SkiRacing School

    • Olin/Lacasse SkiRacing School offers programs in Mount Hood, Austria and Copper Mountain, Colorado. Students are trained in all aspects and skills of ski racing including gate training. The school has one coach for every eight to 10 students. The school features six days of ski training and coaching. All ages and experience levels are welcome; however, a parent or guardian must accompany any children 10 years old or younger.
