Motocross Racing Schools

Motocross is a highly competitive sport, and racers look for any edge they can get. To this end, many schools teaching the skills necessary to succeed in this sport have been started. They cover a wide range of techniques across all skill levels, from beginner to seasoned vet. Many provide all the materials, including bikes, that students will need to succeed.
  1. Gary Bailey MX School

    • The Gary Bailey MX School is run and taught by Gary Bailey, one of the pioneers of the sport. The school is relatively exclusive, featuring few classes that are very small in size. The school does weekend classes as well as youth summer camps to provide detailed instruction in motocross training. As well, Gary Bailey also provides private instruction through his school, should the student desire further training.

    Keith Johnson Motocross School

    • The Keith Johnson School was opened by professional motocross veteran Keith Johnson. The school offers single-session, 3-hour classes in the basics of motocross performance. These classes cover rider positioning, cornering and jumping as well as proper attitude and etiquette on the track. The classes are limited and in high demand, so registering early is highly recommended.

    MotoX School

    • MotoX School relies on the rider having his own bike because, unlike other riding schools, MotoX Schools curriculum is entirely online. It is a full-year online course that covers a wide range of techniques for both beginner and advanced students. Such topics include cornering, braking and jumps as well as tips in troubleshooting mistakes and learning to pass other riders.
