1
Clean your snowboard with a slightly damp cloth to remove dirt and any loose shards.
-
2
Dry the board with a towel and let it sit for 2 to 3 days so that any existing moisture will evaporate.
-
3
Prepare your epoxy mixture according to its manufacturer's instructions. The epoxy should have two different containers that hold the resin and hardener. Check the epoxy container to ensure that it's waterproof and works with fiberglass parts. The mixing container needs to be dry and clean. Don't use cardboard and paper containers due to the risk of contamination from chemicals in the coating. Mix the resin and hardener thoroughly with a plastic or stainless steel device. Don't use wooden stir sticks.

4
Apply the epoxy mixture slowly to the tear on your snowboard. Overfill any cracks with the epoxy. Minimize air entrapment by maintaining a continuous flow from one corner to the other. Follow any other instructions from the epoxy manufacturer, such as carefully heating the epoxy with a hair dryer.
-
5
Seal the snowboard firmly by clamping it with a C-clamp near the tear for 24 to 48 hours. Use duct tape if a C-clamp is unavailable.
-
6
Remove the C-clamp or duct tape. Sand the snowboard with worn sandpaper and wax its surface to remove excess epoxy. Your snowboard is now ready to use.
