Instructions

  1. Building the Ramp

    • 1

Saw off two 3-foot-long pieces of the 2x4 wooden planks, and two 2-foot-long 2x4 planks. Nail the pieces together to form the L-shape foundation of the base of your ramp. The longer plank of wood goes on the bottom, and the 2-foot-long piece of wood gets nailed to it. It will serve as the height of the ramp. Repeat this step once to create two L-shaped foundations that you will later attach to the third and final piece.

    • 2

Saw two 2-foot-long 2x4's that will be used to connect the two separate L-shapes you just built. This piece belongs on the ground connecting the L-shape foundation together at the corner of the L. Take the other 2-foot-long wooden 2x4 and nail it to the top/height of the ramp. These two pieces should secure the L-shape foundation into one piece ready for the finishing touches.

    • 3

Cut off two 4-foot-long 2x4 planks. These are going to act as the angle of the kicker ramp. It should be nailed at both the bottom and top of the long edge of the L-shape foundation, with the bottom being the beginning of the ramp where it starts from the ground. The top is the height of the ramp where it ends.

Take your 2x4-foot plywood sheet and lay it on the angle you just built. This piece is going to serve as the actual riding portion of the ramp.
