How to Fly a Flexwing Trike

1
Move the "Throttle" into the full position when you are ready to take off. As the trike begins to move, slowly push the bar forward to raise the wings. As you get closer to the end of the runway and reach full speed, push the bar all the way to the front, to get air under the wings and take off.

2
Lean back in the chair as you climb and gain altitude; pull the bar back toward you to lower the wings a bit and get a more level flight path. Pull back on the throttle to bring your speed back toward the middle. As you fly, pushing forward on the bar raises the wings and you gain altitude, while pulling the bar lowers them and you lose altitude.

3
Pull the bar in and start a small dive to begin the turning process. As you begin to dive, push the bar to the left or right, depending on which direction you wish to turn. As you turn, lean into it and push the throttle up to gain a little speed into the turn. When you reach the direction you want to turn, pull the bar back to the center position and move the throttle back to a cruising speed.

4
Start a slow decent toward the area you want to land, and aim for hitting the ground at about 1/3 the length of the runway. Pull the throttle back to slow down as you approach the landing, then when you hit the ground, pull the bar toward you to aim the wings down. The drag from the wings slows you down. Pull the throttle all the way back and press on the breaks to stop.
