Instructions

1
Set the 2-by-4 pieces of wood on the ground in an open level area so that they are sitting on the 2-inch sides and form a square.
-
2
Drive two nails into the boards at each corner of the square such that the nails pass through the flat side of one board and enter the end of the next board touching it. These nails should now be holding together the square base of the wrestling ring.
-
3
Dig a hole 2-feet deep just outside the point of each corner of the wooden square using the post hole digger.
-
4
Mix the sack concrete in the bucket according to the directions on the bag. Use the water hose and mixing stick to make the concrete.
-
5
Place a 4-by-4 post upright in each of the post holes next to the four points of the wooden square.
-
6
Pour the concrete into the post holes around the wooden posts. The concrete must surround each post and reach the top of the post hole. It may be necessary to use a second bag of concrete to ensure that each post is properly secured. Each post must be perfectly upright in its hole. Allow the concrete to dry.
-
7
Wrap the closed-cell foam around each wooden post and fold the extra foam over the top of the post.
-
8
Wrap a roll of duct tape around the closed cell foam on each post to secure and protect it. When you are finished, each post should be completely wrapped in foam and duct tape, with no wood or edges exposed.
-
9
Nail the end of the first piece of thick rope to the outside of one of the posts, a few inches from the top, with one of the U-shaped nails. Then, carry it to the next post and make a loop around that post with the rope. Add a few more U-shaped nails to secure it. Continue in this fashion until the rope is wrapped and secured around the top of all four posts.

10
Nail the end of the first piece of thick rope to the outside of one of the posts exactly in the middle of the post with one of the U-shaped nails. Then, carry it to the next post and make a loop around that post with the rope. Add a few more nails to secure it and continue in this fashion until the rope is wrapped and secured around the middle of all four posts.

Layer the old mattresses and tumbling mats inside the ring. Use the old mattresses as the base layer closest to the ground, and put the tumbling pads on top. Make sure not to leave any areas of ground uncovered.
