Alternate your exercises, stretching and weight training to stay motivated. Your body will plateau and stop producing results. So if you mix it up every time you work out, it will be harder for your body to adjust. By alternating exercises during your work out you will burn fat much faster than by doing one continuous exercise. Burning calories requires the proper balance of cardiovascular fitness and weight training. Even if you're lifting small weights to avoid muscle growth you can burn much more fat than if you were to just do all cardiovascular workouts.
