Pros & Cons on a Power Tower
-
Price
-
The price of a Power Tower can range from $99 for a basic version, all the way up to $550 for the assisted version.
Pros
-
Using a Power Tower gives you the ability to do pull-ups and tricep dips. With creativity, you have the ability to do many different vertical abdominal exercises, but these are difficult to do. The assisted version also gives you the ability to do pull-ups and tricep dips if you can't do them on your own. The assisted lift literally gives you a boost, which will have you doing pull-ups on your own in no time at all.
Cons
-
In reality, the Power Tower really gives you the capability of performing only two exercises, given the difficulty of the abdominal exercise variations. The ability to perform only tricep dips and pull-ups is a disappointment with a piece of equipment that costs more than $100.
Considerations
-
It is recommended that you exercise all your muscle groups at least two times per week while allowing rest in between your days of strength training. If a Power Tower is the only thing you are using, you won't exercise all of your muscle groups.
