How to Install a MinnKota Deckhand 18

Minn Kota is a company that is mostly known for manufacturing trolling motors for fishing boats. However, the company also manufactures other boating supplies including the Deckhand 18, which is an electric anchor winch. The Deckhand 18 comes with its own 18-pound anchor and is pre-spooled with 60 feet of 800-pound test nylon rope. The Deckhand should be mounted towards the front, or bow, of the boat. The Deckhand is wired directly to a battery.
