How Do I Pull the Power Head Outboard?
The power head on the outboard engine is truly "the guts" of the boat motor, which consists of the block and piston. Whether you have to change or overhaul a piston, or whether you need to recondition the power head due to saltwater exposure, different repairs make removing the power head a necessity. Removing the power head from an outboard will take anywhere from one to two hours.
