Delta II Full Body Harness 1102000 Instructions

The Delta II Full Body Harness model 1102000 is a safety device that you can use to keep yourself from falling while climbing for pleasure or while working at extreme heights. The Delta II is a full vest-style harness that you will secure to your shoulders, chest and legs using the high-strength straps. This harness must be put on securely and attached to safety cables correctly in order for it to work properly in case of a fall.

Instructions

    • 1

Hold the harness upright by the back connector and let all parts dangle toward the ground. If any parts are twisted together, separate them before attempting to put the harness on.

    • 2

Slide one arm through the harness so that the proper shoulder strap comes over the shoulder and the side strap goes under your arm with the back connector on your back. Pull the other side of the harness up and put the other arm through using the same method.

    • 3

Pull the first leg strap from behind you under your crotch and in front of you. Connect the end of the strap to the connector that will be hanging near your hip like a seat belt. Pull the other leg strap from behind you and connect it in the same manner.

    • 4

Pull the two pieces of the chest strap together and lock them into place like a seat belt. When all connections are made, pull on the loose end of each strap to tighten the harness. The harness should not be loose or you could run the risk of injury from falling out of the harness.

    • 5

Connect the guiding cable or safety cable to the connector ring on the back of the harness. Have another person assist you to ensure that the connection is correct and tight to avoid problems.
