Tissot Touch User Instructions

Swiss brand Tissot's Touch watches use a tactile, touch-sensitive crystal watch face to control certain functions; like the thermometer, weather functions, altimeter, chronograph, compass and alarm. Buttons in the bezel are used to activate the touch sensitivity and to make positive and negative corrections to settings.

Instructions

    • 1

Activate the sapphire crystal watch face, sometimes called the glass, by pressing the "T" button which is located where the crown would usually be on a classic watch. A flashing bar will appear on the digital display.

    • 2

Choose a function by pressing a tactile area on the crystal. The thermometer function is at 10 o'clock and covers an area roughly the size of the "10" marking on the face. The weather is at 12 o'clock; the altimeter is at 2 o'clock; the compass is at 6 and the alarm is at 4.

    • 3

Set the time by pressing the "T" to activate the crystal. Then press the tactile area right at the center of the dial, where the hands meet. This starts the time setting function.

    • 4

Press the "+" button -- which is at 2 o'clock on the bezel -- to activate the setting. Press the "+" button again, or the "-" button at 4 o'clock, to move the hands incrementally forwards or backwards. Press "T" to confirm the setting.

    • 5

Follow the same procedure for the other functions. For example, to see the thermometer, press "T" to activate the crystal, then press the tactile area at 10 o'clock to see the temperature displayed.
