Accusplit Eagle Instructions

With the Accusplit Eagle pedometer, you'll know if you've walked as far as you think you have while hiking, working out or just performing daily activities. The Eagle incorporates the patented JW200 PedometerEngine Step Sensor that records every step you take, up to 99,999 of them. It also computes distance traveled and calories burned, and saves current week and previous week's cumulative data. A timer mode can display total time of step activity in hours and minutes. The Eagle clips to your belt and an additional safety leash keeps it secure during vigorous workouts. It is powered by a single LR44 1.5 volt alkaline battery.

Instructions

  1. Enter Your Stride Length

      Walk 10 steps in normal stride and measure the total distance beginning from the toe of the first step to the toe of the last step. Divide the total distance by 10. The result is your stride length.

      Push the locking tab on the cover of the Eagle to open the pedometer case.

      Press the yellow "Mode" button until the arrow on the display points to "Dist."

      Press the "Set" button once and a default stride length will appear. Press the dark blue "Set" button to increase the stride length. Press the green reset button to decrease the stride length. Press the yellow "Mode" button when your correct stride length displays to confirm that length and exit the setting mode.

    Using The Pedometer

      Attach the leash to the pedometer by looping it through one of the leash slots in the case.

      Attach the alligator clip at the end of the least to a belt loop or the waist of pants or skirt.

      Hold the belt clip on the back of the pedometer open and clip it to the top of pants or skirt. Pedometer should be oriented as vertically as possible.

      Close the pedometer case to begin operation.

    Displaying Data

      Open the pedometer case to pause operation.

      Press the yellow "Mode" button to cycle through data and display total steps, total distance, calories burned, activity time, and clock.

      Press the cream "Last Wk" button then press the yellow "Mode" button to cycle through average daily steps, distance, calories, and activity time for the previous week.

      Press aqua "Wk-Day" button then press the yellow "Mode" button to cycle through cumulative steps, distance, calories and activity time for the current week.

    Resetting Data

      Manually reset the memory for the current day by pressing the aqua "Wk-Day" button and holding until the bar appears under the "Day" indicator.

      Press and hold the green "Reset" button for at least two seconds to reset the memory.

      Reset the memory for the current week by pressing the aqua "Wk-Day" button and holding until the bar appears under the "This Week" indicator.

      Press and hold the green "Reset" button for at least two seconds.
