    Obtain A Horse Pass

    • Minnesota Department of Natural Resources requires a horse pass for anyone riding on DNR land, such as state trails, forests, parks and recreation areas.

    Safety Concerns

    • The Department of Natural Resources recommends wearing a helmet, riding single file, carrying your cell phone, only riding in groups and carrying a trail map. Remember to stay only on designated trails and warn other riders by telling them you're passing on their right or left side.
