Polaris Industries Inc. is the largest maker of snowmobiles in the world and the second-largest manufacturer of all-terrain vehicles, or ATVs, trailing only Honda. The company, having developed expertise in motorized vehicles, manufactured and sold the Polaris Indy Ultra in the second half of the 1990s.
